Course Description

ECE 230y Electrical Laboratory

Laboratory experiments associated with the required courses in the second year of the Electrical/ Computer Engineering program. Laboratory procedures, health and safety issues; data collection methods; errors, accuracy; analog and digital instruments. Error Analysis, signal conditioning, data interpolation. Software for circuit analysis.

Antirequisite: The former ES 207a/b, ES 230y, ES 232b

Prerequisites: Computer Science 026a/b

Corequisite: ECE 205a/b, ECE 231a/b, ECE 233a/b, ECE 235a/b, ECE 236a/b

1 lecture hour, 2 laboratory hours, both terms, half course.
