FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS TOXICOLOGY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE


Admission Requirements

Completion of the requirements for a 3-year BSc in Biology and Environmental Science including Biology 351a/b, plus Pharmacology and Toxicology 356a/b (or the former Biology 362). Students must fulfil the general prerequisites for entrance into honors programs. One of Physics 020, 024 or 028a/b and 029a/b, or the former Physics 022 or 025 is recommended.

Note: Enrolment in this program is limited.


Fourth Year
Principal Courses

    Pharmacology and Toxicology 463a/b, (formerly Pharmacology 463a/b), the former Pharmacology and Toxicology 442a/b, 460a/b
    Pharmacology and Toxicology 480E (formerly Pharmacology 480) (1.5 course equivalents)
    Environmental Science 350F/G if not already taken
    The equivalent of one full course should be chosen from other 300- or 400-level courses in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or Anatomy and Cell Biology 309 (formerly Biology 309) or the former Biology 322a, Medical Biophysics 331G (formerly Biology 331G), the former Biology 390a, 391b.
    Sufficient additional honors courses should be chosen from Groups A through E to give a total of five full courses

    The approved courses for Groups A, B, C, D, E and F are listed in the degree requirements for the BSc Environmental Science.
