FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS APPLIED MATHEMATICS AND GEOPHYSICS (ENVIRONMENTAL MODELLING)

Admission Requirements

A first year program with a mark of at least 60% in Calculus 050a/b plus 051a/b, or Applied Mathematics 026, and Earth Sciences 020 or equivalent (see note) and Physics 020 or 024 or 025 as principal courses. Chemistry 020 or 023 is a required subsidiary course.

Note: Courses equivalent to Earth Sciences 020 are any two of Earth Sciences 081a/b, 082a/b, 083F, 085a/b, 281b; the recommended combination most closely approximating the content of Earth Sciences 020 is Earth Sciences 082a/b, and 085a/b

Second Year

One half course approved option: Linear Algebra 040a/b (in first term) if not taken in first year
