Admission Requirements

A first year program with a mark of at least 60% in Calculus 050a/b plus 051a/b or Applied Mathematics 026, and Statistical Sciences 023a/b and any other one and a half courses as principal courses. Linear Algebra 040a/b and Statistical Sciences 024a/b are strongly recommended.

Second Year

Calculus 250a/b, 251a/b
Differential Equations 215a
Statistical Sciences 257a
Statistical Sciences 259a/b,260b; or the former Statistical Sciences 255

Subsidiary Courses

One full-course approved option, including Linear Algebra 040a/b (in first term) if not already taken in first year.

Third Year

Applied Mathematics 310a/b, 315a/b
Statistical Sciences 346a/b, 357a, 358b, 359a/b

Subsidiary Courses

One and one-half courses in Applied Mathematics at the 300-or 400-level, or in Statistical Sciences numbered 310 and above
One half-course option

Note: Applied Mathematics 325a/b must be included in this program.

Fourth Year

Principal Courses

Two Applied Mathematics full courses at the 300- or 400-level
Statistical Sciences 316a/b, 325a/b
