Students who have fulfilled the requirements for a 3-year BSc Biology program, with an overall average of 70% in the last two years and at least a 70% average in five senior Biology courses (which must include Biology 280a, 281b, 282b, 283a, and 290a/b, two additional laboratory courses, and one additional Biology half-course at the 200- or 300-level, with no mark less than 60% in those five courses) can proceed to one of the honors programs provided the necessary course prerequisites (listed below) for that program have been completed at a "B" level.

Students who have fulfilled the requirements for a 3-year BSc Biology program but who do not fulfil the requirements specified for admission, may be allowed to proceed to an honors degree in one of the disciplines of Biology only with the special permission of the appropriate Department.

NOTE:

Some honors programs have limited enrolment. Students are advised to consult with a biology counsellor for information on programs in which the number of applications for admission may exceed the number of available spaces.
