Three half courses from Actuarial Science 423a/b, 424a/b, 427a/b, 442a/b, Statistical Sciences 421a/b, of which at least one of Actuarial Science 424a/b, 442a/b must be taken.

1. Students intending to write the Society of Actuaries professional exams should consider taking Economics 020 and if possible, Economics 150a/b or Economics 152a/b.
2. Students should consider taking a broad background of subjects as subsidiary courses. Some examples of possible courses are Business 020, 257, Computer Science 026a/b, 027a/b, 031a/b, Differential Equations 215a, Applied Mathematics 261b, Speech 143, and Writing 101F/G.
