Completion of the 3-year program in Geology and Environmental Science with a minimum average of 70% in all area of concentration courses and no mark in any of these less than 60%. Students who do not meet the course and mark requirements may be allowed to proceed into third and fourth year of the program only with the special permission of the Department of Earth Sciences and the Coordinator of the Environmental Science program.

Earth Sciences 490 (full course)

Earth Sciences 440a/b

Two fourth year half-courses from Earth Sciences, at least one of which must be 400a/b, 431a/b, 432a/b, 444a/b, 462a/b

Environmental Science 350a/b

The equivalent of two senior full courses from Groups A, B, D, E, F (Chemistry 322 and Engineering Science 363a/b are strongly recommended for those interested in Geochemistry).

Subsidiary Course

One senior Science half-course option, to attain a total of five and one-half courses.
