MAJOR IN FINANCE

Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements, including the following 3.0 courses with an average of 60% and no mark less than 60%: Business Administration 1220; Economics 1021A/B and Economics 1022A/B, or the former Economics 1020; 0.5 from Mathematics 1225A/B, Calculus 1000A/B or the former Calculus 1100A/B AND 0.5 from Mathematics 1229A/B, Calculus 1301A/B, Calculus 1501A/B, or Mathematics 1600A/B or the former Linear Algebra 1600A/B.

Module
6.0 courses:

3.0 courses normally taken in second-year: Business Administration 2257, Economics 2220A/B, Economics 2221A/B, Economics 2260A/B, Economics 2261A/B.
1.5 courses: MOS 3310A/B, Economics 2222A/B, Economics 2223A/B.
1.0 course from: Economics 3346A/B, Economics 3371A/B, Management and Organizational Studies 3312A/B.
0.5 course from: Economics 3328A/B, Economics 3329A/B, Economics 3352A/B, Economics 3370A/B.

Note: Students pursuing the BMOS Honors degree with Major in Accounting or Major in Management and Organizational Studies together with Major in Finance may count only 1.0 course towards both Major modules. Therefore, in addition to completing the requirements of each Major module, students must select 1.0 additional course, not taken previously, from the following list, to bring the total number of different courses in both modules to 12.0: Management and Organizational Studies 3312A/B, Management and Organizational Studies 3360A/B, Management and Organizational Studies 3361A/B, Management and Organizational Studies 3362A/B, the former Management and Organizational Studies 3372, the former Management and Organizational Studies 4460A/B, the former Management and Organizational Studies 4461A/B; Economics 3328A/B, Economics 3329A/B, Economics 3346A/B, Economics 3352A/B, Economics 3357A/B, Economics 3370A/B, Economics 3371A/B.
