WATER AND OUR WORLD: LITERATURE, ECOLOGY, ACTIVISM
This course examines the relationship between water (its management and mythology) and the development of diverse cultures. This course alternates between historical examples from around the world and a specific focus on the Great Lakes Basin, including a group project for improving the ecology of the Deshkan Ziibi /Thames River.
Prerequisite(s): At least 60% in 1.0 of English 1000-1999, or at least 60% in any 1.0 essay course in any other subject, or permission of the Department.
