The Honours Specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics is a professional program, within the Bachelor of Science Foods and Nutrition (BScFN) degree, and is offered by Brescia University College. Enrollment is through Brescia University College or the Faculty of Science.

The program is accredited by the professional association, Partnership for Dietetic Education and Practice (PDEP), and prepares graduates for application to a dietetic practicum program that leads to registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the professional regulating body, the College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO). Completion of the Honours Specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics does not guarantee admission to a dietetic practicum program. Enrolment in this module is limited. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee that students wishing to transfer into this module will be offered enrolment.

Graduates also may pursue post-graduate study in areas such as Nutritional Sciences, Health Administration, Food Science, Food Safety, or Public Health.  Students are encouraged to seek academic advising at Brescia early in the program, especially if they intend to combine the Honours Specialization with a Major or Minor in a complementary field.
